The wood-grain option is a water-transfer printing process built on nano-scale technology — applying the texture and tone of natural timber directly onto the iron frame. The result reads like wood at any distance but performs like metal: fireproof, moisture-resistant, and crack-proof. It holds its appearance in humid environments — bathrooms, vanities, coastal interiors — without the rotting, warping, or upkeep of a real veneer.

Should I choose the 40 cm or the 60 cm version?
It depends on the wall the fixture has to hold. The 40 cm Short reads as a balanced bedside companion — installed in pairs flanking a headboard, or framing a powder-room mirror. The 60 cm Long earns its name as a statement piece: a single fixture along a hallway, above a console, or as the lit anchor of a living-room accent wall. As a general rule, if the wall is wider than 1.8 m, the long version will hold the space better.
The LED is built-in — what happens when it eventually wears out?
The integrated LED module is rated for 30,000 – 50,000 hours — roughly 15 to 25 years of typical residential use. Because it is built into the fixture rather than a replaceable bulb, the trade-off is genuine: the light source itself is engineered into the geometry, which is what allows the even wash and the seamless dual-column design. When the module eventually reaches end-of-life, the fixture is replaced rather than re-lamped.
Is the Fallon dimmable?
Yes — the integrated LED driver is compatible with most modern wall dimmers. For best results, pair it with a TRIAC or 0–10 V dimmer rated for LED loads; older incandescent dimmers may flicker or buzz. If a smooth, candlelight-low dim is important to you, mention it at order — we'll confirm dimmer compatibility for your wiring.
How does the wood-grain finish hold up over time?
The water-transfer print is bonded into the iron at a nano-scale and sealed — it does not peel, crack, or fade the way a veneer or wrap would. It is fireproof, moisture-resistant, and crack-proof, which is why it can sit comfortably in a bathroom or coastal interior where a real wood finish would warp. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth; for occasional cleaning, a barely damp cloth is fine — avoid solvents and abrasives.
Does it require an electrician, and does it work outside North America?
Yes to the first — the Fallon is hardwired onto a standard wall junction box, so a qualified electrician will mount the back plate, connect line / neutral / ground, and seat the fixture. And yes to the second — it is certified for North America, Europe, Australia, and Saudi Arabia, and accepts AC 110 – 240 V universal voltage.
