Good to know

The woven fabric shade is double-sided, so it looks finished from every angle — spot-clean gently with a dry, soft brush; avoid water or wet cleaning, which can distort the weave. Wipe the iron body with a dry cloth only, avoiding ammonia-based or abrasive cleaners.

Frequently Asked

Before you order

How is the House Cord installed?
Hardwired onto a standard junction box, by a qualified electrician. Four steps:
  1. Cut power & confirm wiring. Switch off the circuit at your breaker and confirm the ceiling box supply matches AC 110 – 240 V.
  2. Set your drop. The standard hanging wire is 59″; custom lengths are available if you need a different drop.
  3. Mount the canopy. Secure the base to the junction box, then match line-to-line, neutral-to-neutral, and ground.
  4. Fit the bulbs & restore power. Thread in your E12/E14 bulbs (max 15W each) and switch the circuit back on.
What's the difference between the Body Finish and Shade Finish?
"Body Finish" is the iron frame and drop-ball detail, offered in Brown, White, or Copper. "Shade Finish" is the woven fabric shade, which comes in White only. You're choosing the metal tone against a fixed white fabric shade — Copper or Brown reads warmer, while White gives a quieter, monochrome look.
What bulbs does it take, and how many do I need?
The House Cord takes E12 or E14 base bulbs, sold separately, rated to a maximum of 15W each. This fixture uses 3 bulbs. A warm-white LED at or under 15W keeps the glow soft and even through the double-sided woven fabric shade.
What does "double-sided woven fabric" mean for the shade?
The shade is woven with a finished surface on both the inside and outside, rather than a raw or unfinished interior. That means the fixture looks intentional and tailored from any viewing angle — useful over an island, breakfast nook, or entryway where the underside of the shade is visible from below.
