IP20-rated for dry, indoor rooms only — avoid installing over a bathtub, shower, or other damp/wet location. Wipe the acrylic diffuser with a dry microfibre cloth only; avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners, which can scratch the ripple texture and dull its clarity.

Before you order

How is the Water Ripples installed?
Hardwired onto a standard junction box, by a qualified electrician. Four steps:
  1. Cut power & confirm wiring. Switch off the circuit at your breaker and confirm the ceiling box supply matches AC 110 – 240 V.
  2. Mount the iron frame. Secure the base to the junction box, then match line-to-line, neutral-to-neutral, and ground.
  3. Fit the bulbs. Thread in your E12 or E14 bulbs, max 15W each, before closing up the fixture.
  4. Attach the acrylic shade & restore power. Fit the ripple-textured diffuser to the frame and switch the circuit back on.
What bulbs does it take, and how many do I need?
The Water Ripples takes E12 or E14 base bulbs, sold separately, rated to a maximum of 15W each. Bulb count matches the fixture: 4 bulbs for the 4-Light size, 6 for the 6-Light, and 8 for the 8-Light. A warm-white LED at or under the 15W cap gives the most even glow through the ripple pattern.
Can this be installed in a bathroom?
No — this fixture is IP20-rated, meaning it's built for dry indoor rooms only. It isn't suitable for bathrooms, shower enclosures, or any space with direct moisture or humidity exposure. It works well in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, dining rooms, and similar dry spaces.
Which size should I choose for my room?
All three share the same 5.5″ ceiling drop, so the choice comes down to floor area and desired brightness. The 4-Light (∅15.7″) suits bedrooms, hallways, and smaller rooms. The 6-Light (∅19.7″) is a good mid-size living or dining room fit. The 8-Light (∅23.6″) throws the most light and reads as a focal point in larger open-plan rooms.
