$153.00

A ribbed column of textured light.

The Glacium Wall Sconce embodies a sleek mid-century modern aesthetic, combining a ribbed clear glass diffuser with a solid brass and iron mounting bracket. Designed to provide warm, textured accent lighting, this linear glass wall light serves as a versatile transitional fixture — perfect for a hallway gallery wall layout, a sophisticated entryway foyer, a bathroom vanity flanking element, or a cozy living room focal feature. Seamlessly blending architectural metalwork with functional art deco flair, it diffuses light to reduce glare, creating a soft, upscale ambient glow.

Good to know

The ribbed glass texture is what softens the light and reduces glare — gentle variation in the ridges between pieces is part of its character, not a flaw. Wipe with a dry, soft cloth only, avoiding ammonia-based or abrasive cleaners.

Frequently Asked

Before you order

How is the Glacium installed?
Hardwired onto a standard junction box, by a qualified electrician. Four steps:
  1. Cut power & confirm wiring. Switch off the circuit at your breaker and confirm the wall box supply matches AC 110 – 240 V.
  2. Mount the bracket. Secure the brass and iron bracket to the junction box, then match line-to-line, neutral-to-neutral, and ground.
  3. Fit the G9 bulb(s). Thread in your G9 bulbs — one per light, matching the 2-Light or 3-Light configuration.
  4. Attach the ribbed glass diffuser & restore power. Fit the glass column to the bracket and switch the circuit back on.
What bulb does it take?
The Glacium takes G9 base bulbs, sold separately, one per light along the column. Check your chosen bulb's rated wattage against your fixture wiring before installing, and a warm-white LED will read most true through the ribbed glass.
What's the difference between the Smoky Gray and Amber glass?
Both share the same ribbed texture and mid-century silhouette. Smoky Gray reads cooler and more neutral, letting the fixture blend into contemporary or transitional rooms. Amber Glass leans warmer and more vintage-inspired, adding a golden tone to the diffused glow — a good match for the art deco character described in the listing.
Where does the Glacium work best?
Its linear, ribbed profile suits a hallway gallery wall, an entryway foyer, flanking a bathroom vanity mirror, or as an accent in a living room. Because the ribbed glass diffuses light to reduce glare, it works well anywhere you want soft accent lighting rather than direct task light.

The Solid Brass Lighting Collection

More Than a Light. A Metal That Breathes.

Solid H59 brass — hand-forged, never fades, only deepens with age. Built to last a lifetime and look better for it.

Explore the Brass Collection
Solid Brass · Better With Every Year

True Luxury Is a Material That Stands the Test of Time

Most "brass" fixtures on the market are zinc alloy with a thin copper coat — peeling within three years. Lumioshine uses solid H59 brass throughout: 59%+ copper content, twice the density, and a surface that only grows richer with age.

01 — Solid Cast
Solid Cast · No Plating. No Compromise.

The Weight in Your Hand Is the Truth of Real Brass

Lift it and you'll know. Every Lumioshine fixture is cast from solid H59 brass — uniform walls, dense and substantial. That weight is the material's most honest introduction.

Each piece is lost-wax cast, then hand-filed, polished and finished through at least twelve manual processes. No machine-stamped parts. Ever.

02 — Four Core Advantages

Why Choose Solid Brass?

In lighting, "brass" is widely misused. These four qualities separate the real thing from everything else.

Solid Brass Quality
Never Fades

Improves With Age

Real brass oxidises naturally into a deep, rich patina over time. Ten years in, it looks better than the day it was installed.

Antimicrobial

Naturally Antibacterial

Copper ions continuously inhibit bacterial growth on the surface. Ideal for bathrooms and dining spaces.

Restorable

Scratches Polish Out

Surface scratches or oxidation spots buff out completely with brass wax or fine-grit paper.

Structural

Dense. Strong. Stable.

At ~8.5 g/cm³, brass is denser than aluminium and more corrosion-resistant than iron.

03 — Colouring Process

Brass Colouring /Chemical Finishing

Brass colour is not paint — it's the result of chemical reaction, electroplating or mechanical treatment applied directly to the metal. The colour cannot peel.

Chemical Oxidation → Antique, aged brown, verdigris. Electroplating → Nickel, chrome. Mechanical Brushing → Satin texture.
04 — Finish Exhibition

One Brass. Six Entirely Different Personalities.

A finish is not just a colour — it's how brass interacts with light. Each surface treatment creates a completely different mood.
