How much can the articulated arm actually move?
The arm moves at its joints rather than swiveling from a single fixed pivot, letting you angle the light head up, down, or to the side to compensate for where the fixture sits on the wall relative to what you're lighting. This makes it more forgiving of mounting height than a fixed-position sconce — useful if your bedside, desk, or reading spot isn't at a standard height.
Why Neutral Light instead of the warm light most sconces use?
Neutral-toned light is closer to natural daylight than the amber-leaning warm light common on most decorative fixtures, which suits the Arlo's positioning as a directional task light for a home office or reading nook — neutral light tends to render colors and text more accurately than warm light, at some cost to the cozy, ambient feel warm light gives off.
Since the LED is built-in, can it be replaced if it burns out?
The Arlo uses a built-in integrated LED module rather than a screw-in bulb, so it isn't user-replaceable the way a standard bulb would be. Integrated LEDs are rated for a long service life under normal use, and the module can be serviced by an electrician if it ever needs attention.
Five finishes on one small fixture — how do I choose?
Antique Brass and Brass lean warmer and more traditional; Glossy Copper adds a brighter, more reflective metallic pop; Silver and Black are the coolest, most minimal options, with Black giving the strongest contrast against a light wall. Since the fixture itself is compact, match it to the finish of nearby hardware — door handles, faucet, or other fixtures — for the most cohesive look.
