How is the Aldrich installed?
Hardwired onto a standard junction box, by a qualified electrician. Four steps:
  1. Cut power & confirm wiring. Switch off the circuit at your breaker and confirm the wall box supply matches AC 110 – 240 V.
  2. Mount the copper framework. Secure the base to the junction box, then match line-to-line, neutral-to-neutral, and ground.
  3. Fit the bulb. Thread in your E26/E27 bulb (max 40W) before closing up the fixture.
  4. Attach the hand-finished glass & restore power. Fit the amber glass medium to the base and switch the circuit back on.
What does it mean that this "stands as a piece of wall art"?
The Aldrich is designed to read as a sculptural object on your wall even when off — its geometric metal frame and hand-finished amber glass hold visual interest on their own, not just as a light source. What bulb does it take?
