This is expected of natural stone and part of its character, not a flaw. Wipe with a dry, soft cloth only, avoiding ammonia-based or abrasive cleaners.

Before you order

How is the Harlin installed?
Hardwired onto a standard junction box, by a qualified electrician. Four steps:
  1. Cut power & confirm wiring. Switch off the circuit at your breaker and confirm the wall box supply matches AC 110 – 240 V.
  2. Mount the brass frame. Secure the base to the junction box, then match line-to-line, neutral-to-neutral, and ground.
  3. Fit the bulb. Thread in your E26/E27 bulb before closing up the fixture.
  4. Attach the alabaster drum & restore power. Fit the drum shade, set your preferred swivel angle, and switch the circuit back on.
How do the pull-chain switch and swivel joint work?
The pull-chain switch lets you turn the fixture on and off directly at the sconce, without a separate wall switch. The adjustable swivel joint lets you angle the drum shade toward a mirror, sink, or reading area — set it once during installation, or re-angle it any time your needs change.
Will my fixture look exactly like the product photos?
Not exactly — each piece features unique natural veining, since the shade is carved from genuine Spanish alabaster rather than manufactured glass. The overall drum shape and color tone will match, but the specific vein pattern on your fixture will be one-of-a-kind.
What's the difference between the Brass, Black, and Nickel finishes?
All three share the same white Spanish alabaster shade. Brushed brass reads warmest and most traditional, matte black gives the framework a more graphic, mid-century edge against the pale stone, and satin nickel is cooler and quieter, blending in with chrome or steel fixtures nearby.
