Alina Alabaster Wall Sconce

SKU LSW-710163-01
1.324,00 zł

A faceted stone, hung on woven cord.

The Alina Alabaster Wall Sconce captures a raw, organic modern aesthetic, suspending a faceted geometric shade hand-carved from genuine Spanish alabaster. A solid brass round backplate and sleek extension arm hold the woven cord, allowing the stone's natural veining to diffuse a glare-free ambient glow. This transitional hardwired pendant-style wall lamp brings a sculptural, brutalist touch to high-use luxury interiors. It is an ideal lighting fixture for flanking a master bathroom vanity mirror, upgrading a luxury powder room, or adding high-end accent lighting along entryway foyers, hallway corridors, and boutique hospitality spaces.

Please note: each piece features unique natural veining. Every faceted shade is individually hand-carved from genuine Spanish alabaster, so the vein pattern across the facets on your piece will be one-of-a-kind and won't match the exact piece shown in photos — this is expected of the stone and part of its character.

Frequently Asked

Before you order

Is a stone shade really safe to hang from a cord rather than a rigid fitting?
Yes — the woven cord is held by the solid brass backplate and extension arm, which are engineered to carry the alabaster shade's weight; the cord is a design choice for the fixture's raw, brutalist look, not a substitute for proper support. Still, given the weight of carved stone, make sure the wall anchor point is solid before mounting rather than relying on drywall alone.
How is this different from a regular wall sconce if it's described as "pendant-style"?
Most wall sconces mount the shade rigidly flush or close to the backplate. Here, the extension arm and cord let the faceted alabaster shade hang slightly away from and below the wall mount, closer to how a pendant drops from a ceiling — giving it more presence and letting the stone's facets catch light from more angles than a flush-mounted shade would.
Will my shade's veining and faceting look exactly like the photos?
Not exactly. Each shade is individually hand-carved from genuine Spanish alabaster, so both the vein pattern and how it falls across the geometric facets will be unique to your piece — the overall faceted silhouette and glow will match, but expect your veining to read differently than the exact product photo.
Where does the Alina work best?
Its glare-free glow and sculptural profile suit flanking a master bathroom vanity mirror in pairs, upgrading a luxury powder room, or adding accent lighting along an entryway foyer, hallway corridor, or boutique hospitality space.

A Stone That Was Always Meant to Hold Light

Not Painted. Not Frosted.
Simply Lit From Within.

Long before glass shades or fabric drums, alabaster was already carved thin enough to let light pass through it. Every panel and shell in this collection is cut from a single block of natural stone — its warmth, its veining, its glow are not effects. They are the mineral itself, doing what it has always done.

01 — Cross-Section, Backlit
Translucency · Nature's Rarest Optical Stone

Most Stone Blocks Light.
Alabaster Was Built to Carry It.

Marble absorbs. Granite blocks. Alabaster is one of the only natural stones that lets light travel through its crystalline structure — softened, warmed, and diffused, never harsh. Hand-thinned to the edge of transparency, it glows evenly across the entire surface with no hot spots and no visible bulb.

This is why alabaster has lit temples, tombs and palaces for over four thousand years — no synthetic material has ever fully replicated the way it holds a flame.

Step 03

Hand-Thinned

Carved down in stages, revealing the stone's hidden translucency.

Polished

A smooth, luminous finish that lets light pass through evenly.

Step 05

Fitted & Wired

Paired with premium brass fittings, wired and inspected before it ships.
