All three sizes have matching diameter and height — what shape does that actually make?
A true sphere. Because the diameter and height are identical at every size (25/25, 33/33, 40/40 cm), the shade reads as a perfect globe rather than an elongated or flattened shape — that's the "pure form and simplicity" the description centers on, with nothing stretched in one direction to break the symmetry.
Max 60W is higher than most decorative pendants — why, and what bulb should I use?
The higher ceiling gives you room to use a single larger, more substantial bulb as the fixture's visual centerpiece — fitting for this pure, minimal globe shape where the bulb itself (especially with the Clear shade) is meant to be part of the look. A vintage-style filament bulb or a standard warm-white bulb both work well within that 60W limit.
What's the difference between the White and Clear shade?
White fully diffuses the light, so you see a glowing, opaque sphere rather than the bulb inside it. Clear leaves the glass transparent, showing off the bulb itself — especially striking with a decorative filament bulb, given the fixture's higher wattage ceiling and "vintage cool" character.
