Los bulbos están expuestos sin cubierta — ¿podría resultar demasiado deslumbrante para una mesa de comedor?
Los bulbos tipo vela se sitúan expuestos sobre cada bobecha de cristal ondulado, que es el look tradicional de araña de brazos, pero la luz en sí es multidireccional en lugar de un único haz concentrado — se dispersa a través de los cristales y la columna de vidrio antes de llegar a la estancia. Elegir un bulbo tipo candelabro con un filamento de brillo suave y cálido (en lugar de uno transparente de alto rendimiento) mantiene la autenticidad del diseño sin deslumbramiento agresivo a la altura de los ojos.
¿Para qué sirven exactamente las bobechas onduladas y la columna central de cristal?
Las bobechas de cristal ondulado son las pequeñas piezas en forma de plato que se sitúan bajo cada bulbo tipo vela, históricamente destinadas a recoger la cera que goteaba de las velas reales — aquí son un guiño decorativo a esa tradición. La columna de cristal central recorre el centro de la lámpara como espina estructural y visual, uniendo los brazos de la rama y añadiendo otra superficie a través de la cual la luz puede atravesar.
Las tres medidas tienen la misma altura — ¿qué es lo que realmente cambia al subir de tamaño?
Solo la envergadura y la cantidad de luces: la Capilla de 6 Luces (∅27,6″), la Manor de 8 Luces (∅33,7″) y la Estate de 10 Luces (∅37,6″) se sitúan todas a la misma altura de 23,7″, por lo que aumentar de tamaño amplía la huella de la lámpara y añade más brazos y cristales en lugar de hacerla más alta. Ajusta el diámetro al ancho de tu mesa o vestíbulo en lugar de preocuparte por cambios en la distancia al techo entre tamaños.
¿Cuántos bulbos necesito y qué tipo?
La cantidad de bulbos coincide con la cantidad de luces: 6 para la Capilla, 8 para la Manor, 10 para la Estate, todos con base E12 o E14, vendidos por separado. Un bulbo tipo candelabro con filamento decorativo es el que mejor se adapta a la presentación expuesta y de brazos.
