The Thetford pairs a curved gooseneck arm with a round backplate and an in-line cord switch, offered in solid brass or nickel hardware. White aluminum cone shades and fine ceramic socket caps cast focused, glare-free downward task light — available in single-head or dual-head configurations. Before you order

How is the Thetford sconce installed?
No electrician required — this is a plug-in fixture. Four steps:
  1. Mark & mount the backplate. Position the round backplate at your desired height and secure it to the wall with standard anchors or studs.
  2. Attach the gooseneck arm. Fix the curved arm to the backplate.
  3. Fit the bulb & shade. Thread in your E26/E27 bulb, then fit the ceramic or aluminum cone shade.
  4. Plug in & switch on. Run the 59″ cord to a nearby outlet and use the in-line cord switch to turn it on and off.
Can I bend the arm to aim the light where I need it?
Yes — the gooseneck arm holds whatever angle you set it to, so you can bend it toward a book, a desk surface, or a mirror and it will stay in place. It's stiff enough to hold its position but flexible enough to re-aim whenever you change how you're using the space.
What's the difference between the brass and nickel finish, and the two shade options?
Brass and Nickel Color describe the arm and backplate hardware — brass leans warm, nickel leans cool and reads closer to silver, so choose based on your existing fixtures and hardware. The cone shade comes in white ceramic or white aluminum: ceramic has a slightly heavier, matte finish, while aluminum is lighter in weight and easier to angle along with the arm.
Should I choose single-head or dual-head, and where should it go?
Both share the same 15.7″ depth and 12.6″ height, so the choice comes down to reach and use. The single-head Solo suits a nightstand, a reading nook, or a single home office desk. The dual-head Pair spans a wider bathroom vanity mirror, or lights both sides of a headboard from one fixture — useful anywhere you'd otherwise need two separate lamps.
