Good to know

Model A uses a different bulb base and wattage than Model B and C — double-check the bulb base (E26/E27 vs E12/E14) against your chosen model before ordering bulbs. The Antique Brass finish will soften further with age — wipe with a dry, soft cloth only, and avoid ammonia-based or abrasive cleaners.

Frequently Asked

Before you order

How is the Agnes installed?
Hardwired onto a standard junction box, by a qualified electrician. Four steps:
  1. Cut power & confirm wiring. Switch off the circuit at your breaker and confirm the wall box supply matches AC 110 – 240 V.
  2. Mount the backplate. Secure the base to the junction box, then match line-to-line, neutral-to-neutral, and ground.
  3. Position the gooseneck arm. Bend the arm to your preferred angle, aiming the wide metal shade where you want the glow.
  4. Fit the bulb & restore power. Thread in the correct bulb base for your model (E26/E27 for Model A, E12/E14 for Model B/C) and switch the circuit back on.
Why do the models take different bulbs?
Model A is the largest of the three and uses a standard E26/E27 base at up to 40W, giving it a stronger single-bulb output. Models B and C are more compact and use the smaller E12/E14 base at up to 15W, which suits their smaller shade size. Always match your bulb order to your model's base type.
Can I adjust the angle of the gooseneck arm?
Yes — the gooseneck arm holds whatever angle you bend it to, so you can aim the wide metal shade up for ambient wall wash or down for more direct, focused light, and re-angle it any time your needs change.
Which model should I choose?
Model A (11.8″ × 14.6″ × 11″) is the largest and reads as a statement piece for an entryway or above a mantel. Model B (4.9″ × 14″ × 10.4″) is a mid-size option well suited to a hallway or bedside pair. Model C (4.9″ × 8.5″ × 9.6″) is the most compact — good for tighter wall space or where you want a subtler accent light.

The Solid Brass Lighting Collection

More Than a Light. A Metal That Breathes.

Solid H59 brass — hand-forged, never fades, only deepens with age. Built to last a lifetime and look better for it.

Explore the Brass Collection
Solid Brass · Better With Every Year

True Luxury Is a Material That Stands the Test of Time

Most "brass" fixtures on the market are zinc alloy with a thin copper coat — peeling within three years. Lumioshine uses solid H59 brass throughout: 59%+ copper content, twice the density, and a surface that only grows richer with age.

01 — Solid Cast
Solid Cast · No Plating. No Compromise.

The Weight in Your Hand Is the Truth of Real Brass

Lift it and you'll know. Every Lumioshine fixture is cast from solid H59 brass — uniform walls, dense and substantial. That weight is the material's most honest introduction.

Each piece is lost-wax cast, then hand-filed, polished and finished through at least twelve manual processes. No machine-stamped parts. Ever.

02 — Four Core Advantages

Why Choose Solid Brass?

In lighting, "brass" is widely misused. These four qualities separate the real thing from everything else.

Solid Brass Quality
Never Fades

Improves With Age

Real brass oxidises naturally into a deep, rich patina over time. Ten years in, it looks better than the day it was installed.

Antimicrobial

Naturally Antibacterial

Copper ions continuously inhibit bacterial growth on the surface. Ideal for bathrooms and dining spaces.

Restorable

Scratches Polish Out

Surface scratches or oxidation spots buff out completely with brass wax or fine-grit paper.

Structural

Dense. Strong. Stable.

At ~8.5 g/cm³, brass is denser than aluminium and more corrosion-resistant than iron.

03 — Colouring Process

Brass Colouring /Chemical Finishing

Brass colour is not paint — it's the result of chemical reaction, electroplating or mechanical treatment applied directly to the metal. The colour cannot peel.

Chemical Oxidation → Antique, aged brown, verdigris. Electroplating → Nickel, chrome. Mechanical Brushing → Satin texture.
04 — Finish Exhibition

One Brass. Six Entirely Different Personalities.

A finish is not just a colour — it's how brass interacts with light. Each surface treatment creates a completely different mood.
