Benny Wall Light

SKU LMW-HW92918
$148.00

A reeded glow, on or off.

What's so great about the Benny Wall Light is the texture of that reeded glass shade. It looks so cool whether the light is on or off, and it casts a really beautiful, patterned glow that feels both warm and a little glamorous. The antique brass finish is the perfect match, giving it a timeless, vintage-inspired look.

Good to know

The reeded glass shade shows its ribbed texture even when the light is off, so gentle variation in the ridges between pieces is part of its handmade character. Wipe the metal body with a dry, soft cloth only, avoiding ammonia-based or abrasive cleaners.

Frequently Asked

Before you order

How is the Benny installed?
Hardwired onto a standard junction box, by a qualified electrician. Four steps:
  1. Cut power & confirm wiring. Switch off the circuit at your breaker and confirm the wall box supply matches AC 110 – 240 V.
  2. Mount the base. Secure the metal base to the junction box, then match line-to-line, neutral-to-neutral, and ground.
  3. Fit the bulb(s). Thread in your E12/E14 bulb — one for the Single, two for the Double.
  4. Attach the reeded glass shade(s) & restore power. Fit the shade to the base and switch the circuit back on.
What does the reeded glass texture actually look like?
The shade has fine vertical ribs pressed into the glass — you can see and feel the texture even when the lamp is off, catching light and shadow along its surface. When lit, the ribs break the glow into a soft, patterned light rather than a flat, even glow, which is what gives the fixture its warm, slightly glamorous character.
What bulbs does it take, and how many do I need?
The Benny takes E12 or E14 base bulbs, sold separately, rated to a maximum of 15W each. The Single takes one bulb, the Double takes two. A warm-white LED at or under 15W keeps the glow soft through the reeded glass.
Which body finish should I choose?
Brass reads warmest and most vintage-inspired, matching the fixture's antique character described in the listing. Black gives a more graphic, modern contrast against the reeded glass. Nickel Color is cooler and quieter, pairing well with silver-toned hardware elsewhere in the room.

The Solid Brass Lighting Collection

More Than a Light. A Metal That Breathes.

Solid H59 brass — hand-forged, never fades, only deepens with age. Built to last a lifetime and look better for it.

Explore the Brass Collection
Solid Brass · Better With Every Year

True Luxury Is a Material That Stands the Test of Time

Most "brass" fixtures on the market are zinc alloy with a thin copper coat — peeling within three years. Lumioshine uses solid H59 brass throughout: 59%+ copper content, twice the density, and a surface that only grows richer with age.

01 — Solid Cast
Solid Cast · No Plating. No Compromise.

The Weight in Your Hand Is the Truth of Real Brass

Lift it and you'll know. Every Lumioshine fixture is cast from solid H59 brass — uniform walls, dense and substantial. That weight is the material's most honest introduction.

Each piece is lost-wax cast, then hand-filed, polished and finished through at least twelve manual processes. No machine-stamped parts. Ever.

02 — Four Core Advantages

Why Choose Solid Brass?

In lighting, "brass" is widely misused. These four qualities separate the real thing from everything else.

Solid Brass Quality
Never Fades

Improves With Age

Real brass oxidises naturally into a deep, rich patina over time. Ten years in, it looks better than the day it was installed.

Antimicrobial

Naturally Antibacterial

Copper ions continuously inhibit bacterial growth on the surface. Ideal for bathrooms and dining spaces.

Restorable

Scratches Polish Out

Surface scratches or oxidation spots buff out completely with brass wax or fine-grit paper.

Structural

Dense. Strong. Stable.

At ~8.5 g/cm³, brass is denser than aluminium and more corrosion-resistant than iron.

03 — Colouring Process

Brass Colouring /Chemical Finishing

Brass colour is not paint — it's the result of chemical reaction, electroplating or mechanical treatment applied directly to the metal. The colour cannot peel.

Chemical Oxidation → Antique, aged brown, verdigris. Electroplating → Nickel, chrome. Mechanical Brushing → Satin texture.
04 — Finish Exhibition

One Brass. Six Entirely Different Personalities.

A finish is not just a colour — it's how brass interacts with light. Each surface treatment creates a completely different mood.
