Orrin Molten Glass Wall Sconce

UGS LSW-DG701-01
$150.00

A molten globe, set on brass.

The Orrin Wall Sconce pairs a refined brass metal base with a molten glass globe, capturing the essence of flowing water in its textured, bubble-infused surface. This compact fixture delivers a soft, organic ambient glow, making it a sculptural statement piece for entryways, dining rooms, and upscale commercial spaces. Embracing a quiet luxury aesthetic with optional blue or amber tints, its artistic form functions as versatile wall decor in modern primary suites and sophisticated hospitality interiors — a hardwired sconce that integrates contemporary design with warm, glare-free accent lighting.

Good to know

The bulb-infused glass globe is mouth-worked, so gentle variation in bubble placement and tint depth is part of its character, not a flaw. Wipe the brass base with a dry, soft cloth only — avoid ammonia-based or abrasive cleaners, which can dull the finish.

Frequently Asked

Before you order

How is the Orrin installed?
Hardwired onto a standard junction box, by a qualified electrician. Four steps:
  1. Cut power & confirm wiring. Switch off the circuit at your breaker and confirm the junction box supply matches AC 110 – 240 V.
  2. Mount the base. Secure the brass base plate to the junction box, then match line-to-line, neutral-to-neutral, and ground.
  3. Fit the glass globe. Attach your chosen Clear, Blue, or Amber globe to the base.
  4. Restore power. Switch the circuit back on — the LED is built-in, so there's no bulb to install.
Since the LED is built-in, can it be replaced if it burns out?
The Orrin uses a built-in integrated LED module rather than a screw-in bulb, which is why it isn't user-replaceable the way a standard bulb would be. Integrated LEDs are rated for a long service life under normal use, and the module can be serviced by an electrician if it ever needs attention.
What's the difference between the Clear, Blue, and Amber globe?
All three share the same molten, bubble-infused texture. Clear reads brightest and most neutral, letting the warm LED glow show through cleanly. Blue leans cooler and more sculptural, echoing the "flowing water" character of the glass. Amber deepens the warm light further, giving the most golden, ambient tone of the three — a good match for the Gold base finish.
Which size should I choose?
Both sizes share the same 3.9″ wall projection, so the choice comes down to visual weight. The Petite (∅5.9″) works well as a pair flanking a doorway, mirror, or narrow hallway. The Statement (∅7.9″) reads as a standalone sculptural piece — well suited to an entryway, dining room feature wall, or a hospitality lobby where it needs to hold its own.
