Gloeilamp apart verkocht — past op een standaard E26 of E27-fitting, maximaal 40 W. Wij raden een warm-witte gloeilamp aan om de glaskleur in hun rijkste vorm tot uitdrukking te brengen. Elke kap is handgemonteerd volgens de Tiffany-traditie — kleine verschillen in de snijding van individuele tegels, de looplijnen in het lood en de precieze tint van het gekleurde glas maken deel uit van het handwerk, niet van een fout. Het gedraaide snoer is vrij verstelbaar tot 100 cm — stel de lenshoogte in naar uw bedkant, gang of nis. Vast ingebouwd door een erkende elektricien; geschikt voor binnenshuis, uit de buurt van direct vochtcontact.

Waarvan is het gedraaide snoer gemaakt, en zal het uitrekken of rafelen in de loop der tijd?
Het snoer is een stof-geweven gevlochten draad — de textiele mantel geeft het klassieke gedraaide uiterlijk, terwijl een structurele draadkern in het binnenwerk de werkelijke belasting van de kap draagt. Omdat de belasting via de draad wordt gedragen en niet via de stof, rekt het snoer niet uit, zakt niet door en rafeld niet uit bij normaal gebruik. Stof af en toe af met een zacht, droog doekje; vermijd oplosmiddelen. Als een gesloten eenheid gebruikt (niet zelf uit elkaar halen of het snoer verkorten), blijft het jaar na jaar mooi.
Kan ik de lenshoogte tijdens montage instellen en later aanpassen?
Ja — het snoer is vrij verstelbaar tot 100 cm (39,4″), en de hanghoogte wordt tijdens montage door uw elektricien ingesteld. Eenmaal gekozen, blijft het snoer op zijn plaats zonder te verschuiven. Later aanpassen is mogelijk, maar vereist dat u de wandroset opnieuw opent, dus de meeste eigenaren kiezen een hoogte bij montage. Als richtlijn: korter (50–60 cm) staat mooi boven een console of laag hoofdeinde; standaardlengte (70–80 cm) past goed bij bedkanten; volledig uitgestrekt (100 cm) ziet er prachtig uit op een hoge gang- of trappenhuismuur.
Zwaait de hangende kap heen en weer of voelt deze onstabiel?
Nee — het snoer is gewichtbelast en onder spanning, niet losjes hangend als een ketting. Zodra de kap goed zit en van stroom is voorzien, zet het zich in de hanghoogte en blijft daar. Een voorbijgaande tocht of toevallige aanraking zet het niet in beweging. De maximale hanghoogte van 100 cm is ontworpen om de kap comfortabel in balans te houden; de vorm ziet er "vloeiend" uit, maar beweegt niet.
Elke kap wordt handmatig samengesteld — wat betekent dat voor een bijpassend paar?
Subtiele verschillen zijn onderdeel van de Tiffany-traditie, geen fout. Twee Miroa-wandarmaturen naast een bed vormen een gecoördineerd paar — de silhouet, kleurenfamilie en duifmotief zijn consistent — maar bij directe vergelijking kunnen kleine verschillen in de snijding van individuele tegels, het ritme van de loodlijnen of de exacte tint van een enkel gekleurde ruit zichtbaar zijn. Dit is het kenmerk van handgemonteerd glas in plaats van machinedruk. Mocht exacte symmetrie voor u belangrijker zijn dan handwerksvariatie, dan is dit armatuur niet de juiste keuze.
Welke lamp past het beste bij glas-in-lood?
Een matglas of opaalglas warm-witte gloeilamp, E26 of E27-fitting, maximaal 40 W. Gekleurde glas wordt rijkst verlicht met verspreid, gelijkmatig licht — een matglas bij 2700–3000 K laat elke gekleurde tegel stralen zonder hete plekken, en houdt de witte duifsilhouet scherp tegen de achtergrond. Vermijd koel-wit of daglichtlampen; die maken de kleuren vlak. Gloeilamp apart verkocht.
