Het ziet er prachtig uit of het licht aan of uit is, en het werpt een heel mooi, decoratief licht dat zich warm en een beetje glamoureus voelt. De gegroefd glazen kap toont zijn geribbelde textuur ook als het licht uit is, dus zachte variaties in de ribben tussen stukken maken deel uit van het handgemaakte karakter. Veeg het metalen onderdeel alleen met een droge, zachte doek af; vermijd schoonmaakmiddelen op basis van ammonia of schurende schoonmakers.

Hoe wordt de Benny geïnstalleerd?
Vast op een standaard aansluitingsdoos, door een gekwalificeerde elektricien. Vier stappen:
  1. Zet stroom uit en controleer de bedrading. Schakel het circuit uit bij uw zekeringkast en controleer dat de voeding van de wanddoos overeenkomt met AC 110 – 240 V.
  2. Monteer de basis. Bevestig de metalen basis aan de aansluiting, en combineer fase-fase, nul-nul en aardingsdraad.
  3. Plaats de gloeilamp(en). Schroef je E12/E14 gloeilamp in — één voor de Single, twee voor de Double.
  4. Bevestig de gegroefd glazen kap(pen) & herstel de stroomtoevoer. Plaats de kap op de basis en schakel het circuit weer in.
Hoe ziet de gegroefd glazen textuur er eigenlijk uit?
De kap heeft fijne verticale ribben in het glas — je kunt de textuur zien en voelen zelfs als de lamp uit is, waarbij licht en schaduw langs het oppervlak worden gevangen. Wanneer het brandt, breken de ribben het glow op in een zacht, decoratief licht in plaats van een plat, gelijkmatig glow, wat de armatuur zijn warme, iets glamoureuze karakter geeft.
Welke gloeilampen passen erin en hoeveel heb ik nodig?
De Benny gebruikt E12 of E14 gloeilampfitting, apart verkocht, met een maximumvermogen van elk 15W. De Single neemt één gloeilamp, de Double neemt twee. Een warm wit LED van 15W of minder houdt het glow zacht door het gegroefd glas.
Welke afwerking van het lichaam moet ik kiezen?
Messing leest het warmst en meest vintage-geïnspireerd, aansluitend bij het antieke karakter van de armatuur zoals beschreven in de advertentie. Zwart biedt meer grafisch, modern contrast tegen het gegroefde glas. Nikkel is koeler en rustiger van toon, wat goed aansluit op zilverkleurig hardware elders in de ruimte.
