Waar komt de naam "Cloud" vandaan als het glas geometrisch is en niet rond?
Het verwijst naar het algehele visuele effect in plaats van de vorm van elk afzonderlijk onderdeel – de meerdere semi-transparante, geometrische glaslagen stapelen en overlappen om een zacht, drijvend, wolkachtig massief effect te creëren wanneer verlicht, hoewel elk afzonderlijk facet hoekig is. De lagering is wat dat zachte, golvende effect creëert in plaats van een hard en hoekig uiterlijk.
Waarom meerdere kleine gloeilampen in plaats van minder grote?
Het spreiden van het licht over meerdere kleine E12/E14-gloeilampen zorgt ervoor dat het gelijkmatiger door het gelaagde glas wordt gefilterd, vanuit meerdere punten in de kap in plaats van uit één geconcentreerde bron. Dit draagt bij aan het zachte, gediffuseerde, warme lichtambiance dat wordt beschreven – een enkele grote gloeilamp zou waarschijnlijk hardere schaduwen door de geometrische glaslagen werpen.
Hoe kies ik tussen de vier maten?
Kies de diameter die bij je tafel of ruimte past: de 5-Light (∅16,9″) is geschikt voor een kleinere ontbijttafel, de 7-Light (∅20,9″) werkt goed voor een standaard eettafel, de 10-Light (∅25,6″) past bij een grotere tafel of open ruimte, en de 15-Light (∅33,5″) is ontworpen als een echt middelpunt voor een grote eetkamer of foyer.
