Why an oak column instead of the usual all-metal center?
The solid oak center column is what gives the Majestic Veil its organic modern warmth against the brushed gold arms — a mixed-material choice rather than the all-metal spine typical of most branch chandeliers. Structurally, it's the anchor all ten arms radiate from, and visually, the wood grain adds texture and softness that a plain metal column wouldn't.
How do the pleated shades actually eliminate glare?
Each tailored fabric shade fully encloses its bulb rather than leaving it exposed, and the pleating scatters the light across many small folds instead of letting it pass through as one flat, direct beam. The result is a soft, even glow at eye level — useful for a chandelier hung lower over a dining table, where an exposed-bulb design would be uncomfortably bright to look at directly.
What's the difference between the Beige and Green shades?
